In my CT+E Play to Make class, we have been assigned a photography assignment. It requires us to take 10 photos based on emotions like happy, sad, solemn, and then edit them using a photo editing software (I used photoshop) to make essentially the exact opposite emotion.
Since I have been doing some sort of photography for a few years, I have been really excited about this assignment. The only hard thing about it is the fact that we can't really use humans to show actual emotion. This... this alone is going to make it much harder.
I plan to take a lot of pictures of nature since you know, its really the easiest thing for me to do while I'm here at Virginia Tech. I plan to go to the Hahn Garden and the Duck Pond.

I also want to show things that I really like, such as Francesca Woodman's work, a surrealist photography who did a lot of her work using black and white film as well as working with lower shutter speeds to manipulate movement within the photography.
I'm excited for this project, and I am excited to share my work with whoever reads this.
Thank you for reading!
I hope you have a great rest of your day.
